SaveStack Privacy Policy

SaveStack is made by Thiram Studios, an independent developer. Contact: support@thiramstudios.com.

1. Summary. No account or sign-up; no ads; no analytics or tracking tools; your data is never sold.
2. On your phone. Your library (saved links, titles, summaries, tags, categories, notes) is stored only on your device. Reading text in cover images and recognising what is in them (Google ML Kit, on-device) and search run on your phone. Deleting an item or uninstalling the app removes it.
3. Sent to our server for analysis. When you save a link, the app reads that post's public page on your phone and sends public text from it to our server: for Instagram the caption, creator name and audio name; for YouTube the title, channel, description and keywords; plus any text read from the cover image, image labels, the platform and the post's ID. Videos and images themselves are not sent. An AI model running on Cloudflare Workers AI turns this into a title, summary, category and tags. We do not use your data to train AI models.
4. What our server keeps. The analysis result (title, summary, category, tags; not the caption) for up to 30 days, linked to the post's platform and ID so the same public post is not analysed twice; an anonymous, random install identifier used to apply fair-use limits; daily usage counts for 7 days. Server logs do not contain captions, titles or personal details.
5. Bug reports (only if you send one via Report a problem). Your email (required, so we can reply), your name (optional), your comment, a screenshot of the app screen with your markings, the app's own log (optional; you can turn it off and preview what is sent), and app/device details (app version, Android version, device model, screen size, language, time zone, install date, number of saved items). Kept for up to 90 days, used only to fix problems and reply to you, then deleted.
6. Service providers. Cloudflare hosts our server, runs the AI analysis and stores bug reports on our behalf. When you open or save a post, your phone loads the public page and images directly from Instagram or YouTube, under their own privacy policies. The app is distributed by Google Play.
7. Your rights. You can ask us at support@thiramstudios.com to access or delete any bug report you sent, or ask any question about your data, including your rights under the GDPR.
8. Security. All communication with our server uses HTTPS.
9. Children. SaveStack is not directed at children under 13.
10. Changes. If this policy changes, we update the date above, and significant changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
